decent gameplay milk toast story

It is a cool take on the persona formula. Sadly it falls rather short. The narrative lacks substance it has some interesting concepts but fails to deliver or present them in anything but the most superficial way. The twist undermines the premise of the game, and the conclusion also undermines the premise of the game.

They butcher the villain who was actually an interesting rival, and the second half of the game all but abandons the driving factor behind the first half of the game. Narratively theres alot of cool ideas but they are as deep as a wading pool. Its a good JRPG but it lacks the narrative cohesion and interesting day events that make up the majority of its playtime.
