Fantastic game, not quite as good as Nioh 2. Still great but it doesn't reach the heights of Nioh 2. The ninja mode is cool but really takes the edge off and makes for an overall easier experience. I would recommend it as a first Nioh game, as it doesn't require the same level of mastery as Nioh 2, and the ninja mode allows a more conventional combat system.

The DLC and Enlightened Journey do step up the difficulty, but it is DLC on essentially NG++. Still a fantastic game, with my only real knock being it's not hard enough.
