Santa Slays Tonight

A DEAD MALL. A LONG NIGHT. You’re working the last overnight security shift at a shopping mall. Christmas decorations hang lifelessly overhead. The lights buzz. The music warps and skips. Somewhere down the concourse, a red shape stands perfectly still. DON’T. LOOK. AWAY. This isn’t a chase. If you’re looking at Santa, he’s frozen. Look away to reset a breaker, silence an alarm, or lock a gate and he moves. Every task forces you to turn your back. Every second your eyes aren’t on him is a risk. Listen for bells. Watch the lights. And hope you don’t turn around too late. Clock out… or disappear into the hallway. Santa slays tonight.
