Embattled is a fast-paced one-button game. You are constantly moving up and down while enemies on both sides are shooting at you and approaching your position. To change your direction, press a button or hit the top or the bottom of the screen. Hold a button to stay still and put up shields to protect yourself from enemy shots. But when you have the shields up enemies shoot faster and move towards you. Try to avoid enemy shots and make them hit each other to score points. The game is over when an enemy shot hits you.
